Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavat Will Release Today


Good news for Sanjay Leela Bhansali fans. The controversial film Padmavat will release on 25th Jan. Censor board has recommended many changes in the film. The film will be shown as a completely fictional story. The name of the movie Padmavati is changed to Padmavat now. The censor board ask film makers to make 5 changes. In order to implement those 5 changes the film have to be cut for more then 300 sets.
Strong protest against the film Padmavat is till continuing. Some politicians and several Rajput organizations are protesting against the release of this film. This film is a subject of discussion and debate everywhere from the start. Many people believe that film will get benefit because of its controversy. Many people fear the attacks on cinema theaters and protest rallies against these film. The film is schedule to be release just one day before the republic day.
Padmavat got immense publicity right from the beginning. The story of the film is based on the life of most glorious, exquisite and well-known Queen Padmavati of Mewar. The film now will be presented as a completely fictional story. As per report the mention of the names of cities will be completely removed from the film. When the film will come in front of the audiences it will be a different story. No one will understand where the actual historical incidents took place in India.
Audience will not be able to understand from where Alauddin khilji came. And in which place he fought with the Rajput soldiers.
Deepika as Rani Padmavati Re-editing work is going on for this film to make changes.As per censor board recommendation the re-editing work will be done. Rajasthan government has still not allowed the film to get release in their state. The film is given u/a ratings. Karni sena from Rajasthan is not happy with the film and they are still continuing their protest against the film. Several organizations have threatened to disrupt the shows by breaking the theater property, if the film is release.
Right now Rajasthan government is also standing with the Rajput community. Chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje Scindia, announce to ban the film. In order to respect the sentiments of the people of state.
In a statement given by Vasundhara Raje Scindia, she said Queen Padmavati’s sacrifice is a matter of dignity and pride for the people of Rajasthan. Queen Padmavati is not merely a historical character for us, but she is a part of our glory and self-esteem. We will never tolerate anyone dishonoring or defaming her reputation.
